Baby’s First Year provides four professional photography sessions spread throughout your baby’s first year. These sessions are fully customizable to fit your needs and schedule, but I typically recommend the following intervals to capture the biggest range of baby milestones:

• Newborn (2-3 Weeks Old):
  The newborn stage is such a tender and intimate time. I love capturing those tiny details—sleepy yawns, scrunched toes, and the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms.
• 3-4 Months:
  Around this age, babies start smiling socially and engaging more with the world. Tummy time photos and their curious gazes make this stage a favorite.
• 6-8 Months:
  By now, most babies can sit up unassisted, and their personalities truly start to shine. This stage is full of giggles, curiosity, and new discoveries.
• First Birthday:
  Your baby’s first birthday is a huge milestone! Whether they’re standing, taking first steps, or crawling everywhere, this session celebrates their growth. Cake smash sessions are a fun and memorable way to mark the occasion!

How and When to Schedule Your Session

The Baby’s First Year Membership is designed to work seamlessly with your lifestyle, making it easy to plan and capture stunning photography of your little one. I can help you pre-schedule your sessions in advance, so you have one less thing to think about during this busy time.

Life happens—babies get sick, plans change, and that’s okay! I’m happy to reschedule sessions if needed. If you prefer to book sessions closer to the date, I ask for at least two weeks’ notice to ensure availability.

Where Do Sessions Take Place?

You have several options for your Baby’s First Year sessions:

• Studio Sessions: Local natural light studios provide a serene and beautiful setting for baby photography. Having all sessions in the studio also creates a consistent backdrop, highlighting how much your baby changes over the year.
• In-Home Sessions: There’s nothing like capturing your baby in the comfort of your own home. This is especially great for newborn sessions, allowing you to relax while your baby stays cozy in their own environment.
• Outdoor Sessions: Outdoor photography adds a fresh and natural feel to your baby’s portraits. Outdoor cake smash sessions are especially popular, as the mess is less of a worry and the natural light makes everything look magical!
